The RoboMaster S1 is intended for educational purposes, as it provides a deep insight into the educational fields of mathematics, physics, programming languages and also offers exciting game modes and immersive learning through the help of intelligent functions. The robot uses the programming languages Scratch 3.0 and Python and is equipped with 46 customizable components. Six PWM interfaces and an SBus connection support customizable accessories.
The intelligent remote control of the robot is equipped with a powerful processor and supports functions such as low-latency image transmission, AI calculation and programming. In addition, it is able to transmit coordinates for control signals.
The S1 Blaster uses LED lights to outline launch trajectories for its gel beads and infrared beams. The beads are not toxic and the number of shots as well as the angle of attack is limited. Six smart armor plates detect impacts of infrared rays and globules. The referee system is able to analyze impacts and transfer the data to the game in real time.
The yaw tilt rotation range is 540 ° x 65 °, providing a wide field of view of the FPV camera. The built-in direct drive brushless motor works together with the IMU and advanced algorithms to allow gimbal movements with a vibration control accuracy  within ±0.02°.
The S1 comes with four Mecanum wheels, each with 12 rollers that allow omnidirectional movement and precision control. Front axes suspension allows for added versatility during operation. The S1 uses a customized M3508I engine with an integrated FOC-ESC unit rated at 250 mN • m.
