Recently, DJI added two new models to the Mavic series: the Mavic 2 Pro and the Mavic 2 Zoom. But that’s not all, as DJI was working on another drone model whose use is meant for everyday professional work and to withstand critical missions – the Mavic 2 Enterprise.

The Mavic 2 Enterprise is an enhanced version of the Mavic 2 Zoom and intended for special applications. It is intended to assist the user with inspections of objects or with the search and rescue of persons and animals. The drone is equipped with a 2400 lumen headlight, a 100 decibel speaker and a flashlight. The speaker allows the pilot to remotely play up to ten custom recordings. The strobe flash is supposed to be visible from up to five kilometers away to be a visible and important signal for other pilots.

The Mavic 2 Enterprise targets first responders, lifeguards, search-and-rescue, emergency personnel, firefighters and local law enforcement officials.

The Mavic 2 Enterprise weighs 905 grams and is very compact due to its foldable construction. The drone fits into almost any kind of small carry-on bag and allows an instantaneous use at any time, and without long preparation times. Thanks to self-heating batteries, it can not only be used at any time, but also almost everywhere – with the innovative batteries you can still make use of the drone even if the temperature is below zero.

The improved OcuSync 2.0 system makes it possible to automatically switch between the frequency bands. This not only ensures reliable and safe flight, but also improves video transmission up to 8 km at 1080p4.

The drone offers a flight time of up to 31 minutes while reducing noise emissions at a top speed of 72 km / h.

The built-in memory with a capacity of 24 GB now allows the storage of more usage data to avoid a constant change of SD cards.

With the help of the search mode, it is possible to switch off all drone LED lighting, e.g. to be inconspicuous during night operations.
